Daveigh Chase’s father is asking to oversee her estate, following her mother’s earlier request to be the administrator of the late actress’ property.

The former child star died last month at just 35 years old. Her mom, Cathy Chase, said Daveigh left behind $400,000 in personal property and asked the court to appoint her as the administrator, according to court docs obtained by Page Six earlier this month.

She claimed in the docs that Daveigh’s dad, John Schwallier, “resides in the Philippines with an unknown address” but also “keeps properties” in Las Vegas.

But in a court filing last Thursday, Schwallier asked the court to allow him to oversee his late daughter’s estate, appointing a licensed professional fiduciary and paralegal as an administrator to act on his behalf.

He declined to take on the role himself. “Subject to the appointment of Megan Boling as Administrator and her continued willingness to serve, I decline to serve,” the court docs obtained by Page Six read.

According to the filing, Daveigh died without a will and and the time of her death was “unhoused in LA.”

A hearing is scheduled for Aug. 26 in Los Angeles County Superior Court.

Daveigh’s former manager for more than a decade, John Ryan, told The Post that she had “millions” in unclaimed residual checks at the time of her death.

Ryan said the late actress — who struggled with addiction issues — was “too far gone” to claim the checks.

In a disturbing clip obtained exclusively by The Post last month, Daveigh can be seen looking extremely skinny and barely conscious on the floor of a tent or trailer in LA’s notorious skid row.

Ryan told the outlet that he and her stepsister Gaia Brown had enlisted the help of a private investigator in 2025 to track her down and get her some help, but after he was able to speak to Daveigh on the phone, she “disappeared” again.

“We were so close to finding her,” he told The Post. “Daveigh was the sweetest and brightest light in Hollywood. I can’t believe this is real. Her legacy and work will live on forever.”
