Donald Trump announced that the US will sign a peace deal with Iran tomorrow amid his birthday celebrations sparking a fierce pushback from Tehran.

The president said on Saturday the proposed agreement will see the Strait of Hormuz immediately 'open to all', as well as an end to to months of conflict and global instability. 

The vital waterway has been blockaded since the US took out Iran's Supreme Leader in targeted strikes which kicked off the war on February 28.

If achieved, the peace deal would hand Trump a major diplomatic win on the same day he is set ring in his 80th birthday with a UFC event he is staging at the the White House.

But Tehran denied the alleged timeline saying they are well aware of the events on Sunday and that they believe that Trump is attempting to capitalize on the symbolism of the day.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), slammed Trump's 'unusual insistence' on signing the agreement Sunday and suggested that the president planned to have the deal coincide with his birthday, CNN reported. 

'Some observers believe his insistence may have been driven by a desire to use the occasion symbolically and turn it into a personal publicity event,' the group said in a post on Telegram.  

The president shared the latest update on the negotiations on Truth Social on Saturday afternoon.

'The Deal is scheduled to get signed tomorrow, and immediately after it is signed, the Hormuz Strait is OPEN TO ALL. Our relationship with Iran is a much different and better one than previous Administrations have had,' the commander-in-chief wrote. 

According to several reports, if the agreement is signed on Sunday it is likely to be done so electronically. 

Though it is highly uncommon for diplomatic agreements to be done virtually, Trump is expected to be in Washington DC on Sunday for the UFC event before heading to for the annual G7 Forum later that night. 

Trump will be traveling to France for the Group of Seven gathering, which includes leaders from Canada, France, Italy, Japan, Germany, the United Kingdom and the US. He will land on Monday afternoon, local time. 

Before the leaders' dinner, Trump will hold a bilateral meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron. 

Iran is expected to be a major topic during the G7 discussions. 

In his update Saturday, the president slammed predecessor President Barack Obama, stating that his administration's deal 'is the exact opposite' from his and that the middle eastern country 'no longer want a nuclear weapon.'

'Unlike Obama’s Hundreds of Billions of Dollars in payments to them, including 1.7 Billion Dollars in green, cold cash, no money will exchange hands.

'At the appropriate time, when all is calm, we will go in and get the Nuclear Dust, buried deep under the powerful sunken granite mountains, thanks to our beautiful B-2 Bombers and their brilliant pilots, and downblend and destroy it, whether in Iran, or the United States.

'We look forward to working with Iran, and the entire Middle East, long into the future. 

'Hopefully, this process will all work out quickly, easily, and smoothly. If it doesn’t, we have the ultimate alternative, hopefully never to be used again!' he concluded.  

The president's latest comment on the war in Iran comes just days after he fumed that leadership in Tehran, Iran's capital, had leaked a copy of the impending peace deal. 

Trump signaled on Thursday that Iran had agreed to a memorandum of understanding (MOU) that would extend the ongoing ceasefire for 60 days, during which the two sides could negotiate the future of Iran's nuclear program and other specifics. 

The MOU addresses Iran's stockpile of enriched uranium and reportedly discusses billions in sanctions relief. 

'We're not quite at the finish line yet, but we're very close,' a senior White House official said of the MOU on Friday.

But on Friday, the President lashed out on social media, saying that the leaked terms 'have nothing to do with the terms that were agreed to.'

'The terms that Iran leaked out to the Fake News have nothing to do with the terms that were agreed to, in writing,' Trump wrote. 'What they said, including their weak and pathetic statement on having a deal, bears no relation to the truth.'

'Very dishonorable people to deal with. With them, there is no such thing as dealing in good faith.'

Trump also said that Iran's drone attack on Thursday evening against Indian ships leaving the Strait of Hormuz 'is totally unacceptable'.

As the deal is nearing the finish line, Trump has reportedly iced out Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
