Capcom has released sales figures for two of its latest releases - Pragmata and Resident Evil Requiem - in the company's Q1 2026 financial report. Both are doing well.

The report, which you can read on the Capcom corporate website, reveals that Pragmata has sold just over 2.5m copies since its launch in April. This seems to be an achievement in Capcom's eyes, as the report states the game "performed well", and that "Strong new and catalog title performance led to [year-on-year] growth in unit sales."

In a financial results document, further details on Pragmata's performance can be read: "The company built a fanbase for the game through robust promotional activities and other measures, leading to a favorable performance of over 2.5m units sold worldwide."

While Pragmata got off to a stunning start, Resident Evil Requiem's momentum has continued to perform well in the months since its February release date. The financial report says it has passed 8m sales worldwide: not too shabby!

Finally, the report offers some lifetime figures for Capcom's biggest series, some of which are simply staggering. Street Fighter has passed the 60m series sales milestone, while Monster Hunter comes in at 131m sales. Resident Evil remains the crown jewel for Capcom, though, with a total sales figure passing 213m across the globe.

Capcom's good streak appears to be continuing without sign of stopping. It was only yesterday it came out that Resident Evil 4 was far-and-away the best selling remake in this console generation - a generation arguably plump with too many remakes. So the company by most accounts is killing it, all while the release date for the new Onimusha title draws ever closer.
