Hailey Bieber commanded attention on Thursday night as she arrived at the Sydney premiere of Wuthering Heights in a very daring black lace ensemble.

The 29-year-old US model stepped out at the State Theatre in a striking floor-length black lace gown that perfectly captured the gothic romance vibe of the evening. 

Hailey looked effortlessly elegant in a sheer, all-over floral lace dress with dramatic flared sleeves and a deep V-neckline. 

A fitted silhouette skimmed the floor, worn over a matching black lace bralette and briefs, giving her look a bold, modern edge while nodding to Old Hollywood glamour.

Her tousled brunette waves fell loosely past her shoulders, complementing the daring ensemble, while strappy black heels peeked out beneath the gown. 

She kept her makeup understated, with a natural, luminous finish letting the dress speak for itself.

Hailey was among a star-studded Australian red carpet, joining fellow Hollywood A-listers Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi, who both dazzled in elegant ensembles of their own.

Elsewhere at the event, Margot Robbie ensured all eyes were on her as she led the glamorous arrivals.

The Australian star, 35, looked radiant in a flowing off-shoulder ivory gown, featuring a structured, boned corset bodice that cinched her silhouette perfectly.

She added a romantic touch with sheer tulle sleeves and a mermaid-style flowing skirt layered with delicate tulle that moved gracefully with each step - a modern nod to the gothic romance of her latest movie. 

Her golden blonde hair was styled in effortless, tousled waves swept back from her face, complementing fresh, luminous makeup that highlighted her natural beauty. 

A delicate choker necklace completed the look, adding an understated but elegant finishing touch. 

Meanwhile, Margot's Australian co-star Jacob Elordi, 28, cut a striking figure in a traditional navy suit paired with white dress shoes. 

The star looked neat and trim, his tailored jacket and crisp shirt giving off an air of classic elegance.

The new version of Wuthering Heights will see Margot and Jacob star as the tragic lovers Heathcliff and Catherine, and it's set to hit cinemas on February 13, just in time for Valentine's Day.

During the film's press tour, the stars haven't shied away from showing off their chemistry.

In fact, it has led to some complaints from fans that the duo have taken inspiration from Sydney Sweeney's 'PR playbook' after she put on a similarly cosy display with co-star Glen Powell in 2023 to promote their film Anyone But You.

Jacob himself recently raised eyebrows during a press interview when he declared the pair had a 'mutual obsession' while filming.

Speaking to Fandango, with Margot sitting nearby, he said he made sure he was never more than 10 metres away from the Barbie actress on set.

'If you have the opportunity to share a film set with Margot, you're going to make sure you're within five to ten metres at all times,' he said.
