Ok, so in September of 2021, Xbox had a livestream concert where they had Daði Freyr (sorry but I’m not copy/pasting it every time) sing about psychonauts to celebrate the release of psychonauts two on Xbox game pass. There are multiple articles about this! But they all just link to the YouTube video of it, which is now PRIVATE.

i first found out about it existing through this animatic on YouTube:

(Which is really good, by the way) The creator of the animatic said that they didn’t have anything else from the concert, just this bit of audio. In the comments responding to someone they did link to this clip of him singing the song he sung for Eurovision though!

Though the uploaded of THAT video also said they had nothing else from the concert. Now, I’ve learned that it was Xbox’s channel, not dadi freyr’s, that posted and later privated the video. Here’s a screenshot I nabbed off an article.

He also tweeted about it, and the tweet is still up!

Now, I did get a hold of a direct link to the (private and inaccessible) video that I tried using they way back machine on, which predictably did not work.

My current theory on why it was privated is that it was some sort of contract thing. My best ideas for finding it currently are:

-time travel

-hoping someone else just has it

-dming dadi freyr on twitter or instagram (absolute last resort, I have an account on neither, plan on keeping it that way, and am too nervous to interact)

so yup! Not sure if it really counts as lost media. It’s barely a year old! But I certainly can’t find it.
