David Thewlis has played an array of shady characters in his time, but none quite so shady — nor as iconic — as Fagin. 

Made famous in Charles Dickens' Great Expectations, Fagin is a liar, a scoundrel, and he's never been quite as charming as he is in The Artful Dodger, the series which sees Fagin (Thewlis) and Dodger (Thomas Brodie-Sangster) plying their devious wares in colonial Australia.
