When it comes to her film and TV credentials, she is undoubtedly British acting royalty.
So, it was perhaps fitting that Joanna Lumley attended the Braemar Gathering alongside the King and Queen.
The star, 79, was pictured arriving at the event, decked out in an outfit that included a dark green blazer, tan moleskin hat and pearls.
The actress, who was later seen taking a seat behind King Charles and Queen Camilla, paired the outfit with a brown leather handbag and a tartan sash.
Those attending the Braemar Gathering held a moment of silence to mark the death of Katharine, the Duchess of Kent, earlier this week.
The King, 76, and Queen, 78, looked emotional during the one-minute silence before taking to their seats for the start of the games, which are traditionally held annually on the first Saturday of September.
The monarch chose to wear a black suit jacket and tie, along with a white shirt and kilt. Meanwhile Queen Camilla sported a long blue coat with a tartan collar.
Former Scotland rugby captain Rob Wainwright was also among the 14,000-strong crowd that gathered to watch the Highland games at The Princess Royal and Duke of Fife Memorial Park.

Competitors took part in a host of events, including the traditional tug of war
Ms Lumley, who owns a cottage in the Scots village of Penton, in Dumfriesshire, is best known for TV series Absolutely Fabulous.
The show premiered in 1992 and saw her star as vodka-swilling, chain-smoking character Patsy Stone alongside Jennifer Saunders’ chaotic character Edina Monsoon.
The veteran actress is currently starring in season two of Netflix Adams Family spin off series Wednesday, playing Hester Frump, the title character’s grandmother.

Previous attendants at Braemar Gathering include actors Judi Dench and Hugh Bonneville.
The Gathering has been run in its present form since 1832. Queen Victoria attended in 1848, and since then it has been regularly attended by the reigning Monarch and members of the Royal Family.
Events at the games include the caber toss, a feat of strength where larch trees, sometimes over 20 feet long, are thrown end over end, tug o’ war, throwing of hammers, pipe bands and highland dancing.
