Florence Pugh and Andrew Garfield sparked traffic chaos in Orpington in Kent last night as they shot scenes for their new film.

The pair are currently filming a rom-com called We Live In Time and fans gathered in the early hours of the morning to see the behind-the-scenes action.

But traffic seemed to be stacking up while Florence Pugh, 27, and Andrew Garfield, 39, filmed a scene where Florence appeared to be going into labour.

Traffic cones had been placed along the road and a man in a high-vis jacket was seen directing drivers as they passed by the filming area.

A sign stood on the street to warn pedestrians they were entering a filming location and could expect to appear in the movie. 

The traffic pile-up comes weeks after Spider-Man star Andrew apparently had a cross word with onlookers who were 'distracting' his film shoot in south-west London.

Andrew was spotted shooting one scene outside of a row of flats, when residents noticed what was going on outside and came to the window to watch.

The onlookers have claimed that Andrew 'motioned at them to open the window' before yelling at them for 'distracting' him while he worked.

A source wrote into gossip site Deux Moi, saying: 'Andrew Garfield and Florence Pugh currently filming a new movie in London.

'On Monday AG was filming in a scene right outside his flat (S London). My bf and flatmates were looking through their second story and AG saw them watching.

'Then AG cut the scene, motioned for them to open the window and started yelling a them, saying how disrespectful it was for them to be distracting him by looking out of their own living room window??'

A video with no sound was also included in the post, which showed Andrew approaching the flat window mentioned in the message. 

The filming in Kent last night risked alarming onlookers as Florence appeared to be going into labour during the scene.

Florence was seen doubled over in the street as she wore a brown coat and some blue tracksuit bottoms, teamed with a pair of grey shoes, with what appeared to be a medical equipment hanging down to her front.  

 Alongside her, Andrew looked stressed while acting in character for the scene, with an ambulance sitting in a nearby petrol station, perhaps on hand to whisk Florence's character off to give birth at a nearby hospital.

Moments earlier, Florence could be seen with her mouth open wide as she held Andrews hand before turning to lean on the wooden fence as she acted out breathing through a contraction. 

The film's plot has been closely guarded but is being described as a 'funny, deeply moving and immersive love story'.

It was reported last month that Florence and Andrew were set to co-star in a new romantic film together.

The Don't Worry Darling actress and Andrew - who presented together at the Oscars - were in negotiations on the project.

Florence recently confirmed on the Jimmy Fallon Show: 'We are doing a movie together… don't worry that's not a lie. We are doing a movie together.

'I met him the day before in rehearsals and we instantly got along and I was taking the p*ss out of him and he loved it and he was taking the p*ss out of me and I loved it. It was great!'

John Crowley will direct the film from a script by Nick Payne, according to Deadline.
