In an effort to strengthen community ties and raise awareness of the treasure which is Longfellow-Evangeline State Historic Site, on the first Saturday of each month residents of St. Martinville (with proof of residence) are welcome to enjoy the grounds and site without incurring the standard entrance fee. Have a picnic, go for a walk, or ride bikes—the opportunities are endless. Call 337-394-3754 for more information.
