Southbound Dallas North Tollway reopens at I-635 after tractor-trailer crash

All southbound lanes of the Dallas North Tollway have reopened at Interstate 635 after a truck-tractor semi-trailer crash closed them for a few hours on Thursday.
The crash happened after the tractor struck the interstate bridge, causing the trailer to lose its load across all southbound lanes. According to the tags, it was an industrial-size oven weighing in at 34,000 lbs.
The North Texas Tollway Authority told NBC 5 that drivers should expect heavy traffic and significant delays during their evening commute.
Texas Sky Ranger flew over the scene, where debris could be seen in the southbound lanes and traffic was backed up.
According to DPS, the roadway was closed for an extended period, with its traffic being diverted from the tollway at the I-635 West exit. As of Thursday evening, the roadway has reopened.
There were no reported injuries as a result of the crash.
