State officials visit Stuyvesant bridge damaged by storm

The rain that flooded roadways and devastated some areas has left damage that will take weeks to recover from. New York’s Commissioner of the Department of Transportation Marie Therese Dominguez visited one of the spots that remains closed in Columbia County. The bridge that goes over Mill Creek in Stuyvesant was flooded during the storm, leading to chunks of the road missing, dirt and debris in the road, and a portion of the guardrail suspended in the air where the road is washed out.
