About Interior Lighting Load

Дата публикации: 02-08-2026 18:47:25

Hello,I'm currently experimenting with Autodesk Insight and Building Energy Performance Simulations. When I adjust window sizes, orientations, or add/remove shading surfaces, the heating and cooling loads change as expected. However, the lighting load remains completely static—it does not adjust with changes to window size or daylit area. Even after reducing window sizes by nearly 50%, the lighting load value doesn't change at all.Is it possible that, Forma Carbon Insights ignores natural daylighting, and only calculates artificial lighting load by building type (office, residental etc.)?If not, how can I make sure that natural daylighting is included in the interlior lighting load within Insight performance results? Thanks, in advance.
