I wonder if Mainers truly understand the positive impact Sen. Susan Collins brings to diverse groups of people in our state.

She has secured money for UMaine for health sciences, secured funds for suicide prevention for LGBT groups and continually meets with her constituents.

In my opinion, Collins is one of the last moderates; she fought to save the Job Corps, she is bipartisan and always works hard to represent the interest of the people of Maine. She is fair, honest, intelligent, well-spoken and not full of anger and hate.

Collins is critical to bringing funding for programs to Maine that advance our manufacturing, technology centers, educational institutions and programs.

When people vote this November, I encourage them to really understand the impact that Susan brings to Maine.
