The muscle car spirit lives on in Shelby American’s latest truck.

The performance specialists just pulled back the curtain on the 2027 F-150 Super Snake Sport. A slew of upgrades boosts the single-cab pickup’s output to a hair-raising 810 horses.

It’s a good time to be a street truck fan. Both the Ford F-150 Lobo and Ram 1500 Bumble Bee have hit the market over the last year. But Shelby’s latest entry into the class has two things those official builds don’t: 800-plus hp and a single cab. They, like so many other performance pickups—including the Shelby F-150 Baja Raptor from last month—have double (or, as they’re sometimes known, extended) cabs. If you want that classic street truck look, the Super Snake Sport just might be your best option right now.

This year marks the launch of the Super Snake Sport’s second generation. Although the Super Snake debuted as a four-door model in 2017, the two-door Sport variant entered the scene in 2020 and remained in production for three years, according to Car & Driver. The new single-cab model is dressed up in an aggressive aero kit that includes a hood scoop, larger fenders, and a prominent rear wing coming off the tailgate. It will be available in five colors—Agate Black, Argon Blue, Carbonized Gray Metallic, Iconic Silver, and Oxford White—and can be dressed up with full-length racing stripes. There’s also plenty of Shelby branding, including on the new grille, along with leather seats and billet racing pedals inside the vehicle.

But the Super Snake Pro doesn’t just have that classic street truck look. It also promises to be a true beast out on the pavement, capable of smoking any Ford Mustang, Chevrolet Camaro, or Dodge Charger it comes across. Under the hood, you’ll find a 5.0-liter V-8 equipped with a Shelby-engineered Stage 2 supercharger, a high-flow air intake system, and performance spark plugs, just to note a few upgrades. Thanks to these modifications, the truck makes a staggering 810 hp. No performance numbers were released, but we don’t think we’re going out on a limb in say that it’s probably pretty fast. The list of new gear also includes a lowered suspension, oversized drilled and slotted brake rotors, and a Borla exhaust.

In the market for a truck that can win a drag race? You might want to reach out to Shelby today about reserving your Super Snake Sport. The shop has announced plans to build just 500 examples of the pickup, with pricing starting at $115,795.
