Trump’s investment advisers executed more than 21,000 securities trades in his first year back in office, expanding his holdings to at least $858 million across about 1,600 companies.
The post Trump Unveils 21,000 Securities Trades Worth at Least $858,000,000 in First Year Back as US President appeared first on The Daily Hodl.
President Trump’s investment advisers carried out more than 21,000 securities trades across eight accounts during his first year back in the White House.
The Office of Government Ethics released Trump’s personal financial disclosure, which shows that the president’s accounts expanded to at least $858 million with positions in roughly 1,600 companies, reports ABC News.
This volume far exceeds the 86 transactions listed in his 2017 disclosure and stands in contrast to the 13 trades former President Joe Biden made over his entire term.
Holdings include stakes in defense and tech firms such as Palantir (PLTR), Lockheed Martin (LMT), Boeing (BA), Raytheon (RTX), Intel (INTC) and Nvidia (NVDA) that maintain government contracts or align with administration priorities.
Advisers bought between $1 million and $5 million each in Amazon (AMZN), Apple (AAPL), Broadcom (AVGO), Meta (MSFT), Microsoft and Nvidia on the day the White House released its AI Action Plan in July 2025. The disclosure did not indicate whether the assets were bought before or after the announcement.
Trump told reporters that market gains explain the profits, noting everyone benefits when stocks rise.
“You know ?why ?I’m profiting? Because the ?stock market’s going up, everybody’s profiting.”
The White House maintains that professional managers handle the accounts in alignment with industry practices.
Disclosures also show bursts of trading activity that coincided with market-moving events, including purchases ahead of Trump’s public comments on Palantir.
“Palantir Technologies (PLTR) has proven to have great war-fighting capabilities and equipment. Just ask our enemies!!! President DJT.”
The total value of all trades ranged between $600 million and $1.86 billion according to separate analyses of the filings.
