Claim: The video depicts genuine footage of Dharmendra Pradhan stating that he was forced to resign and threatening to expose the BJP.
Fact: The video is fabricated and uses an AI-generated voice clone layered over NDTV news footage. Dharmendra Pradhan made no such statements following his resignation. Hence, the claim made in the post is FALSE.
First, we searched the internet to see whether Dharmendra Pradhan had given any such speech after his resignation and found no evidence in the media or on his social media handles.
Next, we extracted keyframes from the viral video and ran a reverse image search. We found that the section featuring a news anchor was taken from an NDTV YouTube video uploaded (archive) on 26 July 2026. While that original video discusses Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation and the CJP protest, it does not contain the speech seen in the viral clip.
We also discovered that the visuals of Dharmendra Pradhan used in the viral video were taken from a May 2026 press conference (here & here) regarding the NEET paper leak and re-exam. In this video, he makes no statements regarding resignation or exposing the BJP.
Furthermore, the voice in the viral video sounds entirely different from his natural speaking voice, suggesting it might be AI-generated. To confirm this, we tested the video using AI detection tools like Hive and Hiya, both of which concluded that the viral clip is indeed AI-generated.
To sum it up, an AI video is being shared as Dharmendra Pradhan threatening to expose the BJP for forcing him to resign as Education Minister.
