Claudia Winkleman's new chat show has a strict rule for everyone in the studio audience - as BBC bosses revealed exactly what 'they don't want to see'.

Back in December it was revealed that The Traitors host had landed her very own chat show. 

Then last month it was confirmed that The Claudia Winkleman Show will launch on BBC One from Friday, 13 March at 10.40pm. 

Filming for the brand new series has already started, and tv audience company SRO Audiences, who release tickets for various popular programmes in the UK, has shared a specific rule that the audience have to follow. 

Their website states: 'We’re asking everyone to dress to impress – we don’t want to see any tracksuits or puffer gilets; we’d like to look out at a sea of people dressed for a big night out with Claudia!'

And considering Claudia has served a number of incredible looks during the most recent of The Traitors, there is no surprise there!  

They have already filmed the first episode on March 2, but will also be filming on March 16th, March 24th, March 31st, and April 8th and April 15th. 

The venue is the Television Centre in White City, west London.  

'The Claudia Winkleman Show will see Claudia showcasing her contagious charm to interview both Hollywood stars and the best of British. 

'But celebrities are not the only people Claudia is embracing on this show, she will also be conversing with the audience, so if you want the opportunity to have a chat with Claudia and possibly be on TV, then this is the show for you,' their website adds. 

SRO Audiences also sells tickets for Paul Sinha's Perfect Pub Quiz, Have I Got News For You, The Martin Lewis Money Show Live, Mock The Week, The Last Leg, The Jonathan Ross Show, The Chase Celebrity Specials, Taskmaster and The Graham Norton Show. 

Claudia's first guests include Hollywood star Jeff Goldblum, Absolutely Fabulous legend Jennifer Saunders, comedian Tom Allen and Devil Wears Prada's Vanessa Williams.

Set to air on BBC One on Friday nights, The Claudia Winkleman Show will launch in Spring 2026 and will see The Traitors legend interview some of 'the biggest names from the worlds of film, television, music and beyond' with a live audience.

The set for the show will reportedly be modelled on the aesthetic of The Traitors castle in a bid to recreate a look which 'is now synonymous with Claudia'. 

Speaking about her new gig, Claudia, who stepped back from her Strictly presenting role last year, said previously: 'I can't quite believe it and I’m incredibly grateful to the BBC for this amazing opportunity.

'I'm obviously going to be awful, that goes without saying, but I'm over the moon they’re letting me try.'

Head of Entertainment Commissioning at the BBC, Kalpna Patel-Knight, said: 'Claudia is a true national treasure - warm, witty and endlessly entertaining.

'She has an extraordinary ability to put people at ease and bring out the very best in them, whether they’re global superstars or members of the audience.

'It's very exciting that she will be fronting her very own show on the BBC, and we can't wait for viewers to join Claudia and her sofa full of stars.' 

A first look at her new chat show was later revealed - and saw the presenter mock her own love of fake tan - by slapping orange paint on her face and joking, 'I'm ready!'.

Claudia's new show isn't the only programme that she will be starring in.  

The Piano is set to return with a major to the Channel 4 series twist as host Claudia will be joined by a series of famous faces. 

It first premiered in February 2023 and has gone on to air 19 episodes across three seasons.

The music competition show, hosted by Claudia, sees amateur pianists show off their incredible skills on a public piano around the UK, all while being judged.
