German fan translation patch for Phantasy Star IV: The End of the

Millennium (Sega Mega Drive / Genesis). Dialogue, menus and system text

are fully translated; item names and proper names are kept in their

original English form. Umlauts are transcribed as ae, oe, ue and ss,

since the game's font contains no German special characters.

Distributed as a BPS patch for the USA release (GM MK-1307 -00, 3 MB,

headerless). The German script requires more space than the English

original, so the patched ROM is expanded to 3,197,460 bytes with the ROM

end address and internal checksum adjusted accordingly.

No ROM is included. The readme lists checksums for both the source ROM

and the patched result. Verified by a complete recorded playthrough.
