The manual was probably intended to be transplanted into a binder.

There's a strip of cardboard with "The Bug" on it that slide into

the spine of such a binder.

There are a few files on the disk, but only THE BUG is really

described in the manual.  BRUN THE BUG (mentioned in the manual) and

BRUN THE BUG II both look the same.  I leave it to others (or, to

future me) to work out what these other things on the disk do.

From the overview:

Swat! Kill pesky Assembly Language bugs dead! Works better than

a rolled up printout! The Bug is specially formulated to be safe and

effective for use on any microcomputer program. It is a control pro-

gram that displays the source code of each instruction as it is exe-

cuted, as well as the contents of registers and memory. Execution

can be commenced from any point, run fast through portions known

to be bug free, and slowed to step-by-step at trouble spots. The

run can be automatically halted at points of interest; commands,

registers, and data can be changed, and the run continued. The

modified program can be stored to disk. At last, a miracle product

that lets you walk through a program until you step on The Bug!
