Two more of Universal Audio’s renowned UAD plug-ins have just gained new native versions that can be run without any Apollo or UAD Satellite hardware. Now available to all Windows and macOS users, UAD EMT 140 Classic Plate Reverberator and UAD EMT 250 Classic Electronic Reverb deliver the authentic plate reverb and vintage digital effects heard on classic recordings by artists including The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Prince, Radiohead, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers — and are officially endorsed by EMT International. 

The EMT 140 UAD plug-in captures the sound of three uniquely different EMT units modelled at The Plant Studios in California, providing users with the exact reverb sound heard on some of the most iconic recordings in history.

UAD EMT 140 Classic Plate Reverberator and UAD EMT 250 Classic Electronic Reverb are supported on PCs running Windows 10 or higher, and Macs running macOS 10.15 and above. VST3, AU and AAX plug-in versions are available. 

Both plug-ins are available now, and are currently (4 August 2026) being offered at an introductory price of $79 each, reduced from their full cost of $149.
