Michael Stuart (Mike) BEARD

(Mike) Mike passed away peacefully at Ysbyty Glan Clwyd on Wednesday, 17th June 2026, aged 88 years. Originally of Barry, South Wales, Mike lived in Llandudno for over 60 years working in financial services. He enjoyed golf, snooker, cards and bowling in his spare time. Mike was the loving husband of Ann, proud father of Helen and Philip and their partners Philip and Carol, a devoted grandfather to Holly, Ben, Katie and Lucy and a good friend to many. Mike will be greatly missed by his family, friends, neighbours and anyone who knew him. A Celebration of Mike's Life will take place on Monday, 13th July 2026 at 11.45am at Colwyn Bay Crematorium. Aged 93 of Ffestiniog, passed away peacefully in Ysbyty Glan Clwyd, Bodelwyddan on 6th June 2026 with her family by her side. Barbara was the beloved wife of the late Roy of The Pengwern Hotel and a devoted mother to her daughter, Karen who sadly predeceased her in January 2025. She is lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Kelvyn and Katie, and her great-grandchildren. Margaret And John HAMMOND

Margaret very sadly passed away following a short illness, aged 88 years, on 21st April 2026 in Glan Clwyd Hospital, North Wales, where Margaret and John had lived for almost ten years. On 29th May 2026, John also sadly passed away in Pembroke House Nursing Home, Colwyn Bay, aged 90 years. Mum and Dad to Jane and Sara, mother-in-law and father-in-law to Stephen (Haz) Haswell and Mark Rowley and Grandma and Granddad to Nell. We are proud that Margaret donated her body to medical science and research, meaning there will not be a cremation at this stage. A private cremation will be held for John for immediate family only. Celebration of Life occasions for Margaret and John will be held in late July in both Llandudno, and in Leek, Staffordshire where they lived for a long time prior to moving to North Wales. John PAYNE

John passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family, on Thursday, 18th June 2026, aged 81 years. Born in West Bromwich, John moved to Prestatyn with his family following the relocation of the family business Ega Tube to St Asaph in 1963. John then lived in Colwyn Bay for 49 years before moving latterly to Deganwy Quay. John was the loving husband of Mary, proud father of Phil and Nic and their partners Bethany and Kevin, a devoted Grandpa to Bella, Will, Gabriella, Tomas, Kayla and Sophie and a cherished brother to Eric and Joy. John will be greatly missed by his family, friends, colleagues, business associates and anyone who knew him. John was a devoted Christian with an enormous faith that gave him the strength to face the brain tumour diagnosis in 2025 without fear, but in the knowledge that he was in the Lords safe hands. John had a love of watching all sports, particularly football and motorsports and a passion for boats and spreadsheets. John, a Chartered Accountant, was a Trustee for many organisations and dedicated his life to helping others and furthering the work of the Lord amongst schools and the local community. A Funeral Service for John will take place on Monday, 6th July 2026 at 12.30pm at St John's Uniting Church, Pwllycrochan Avenue, Colwyn Bay followed by a private interment at Llanrhos Lawn Cemetery. Elma wishes to pass on her sincere thanks to the Family Doctor's Surgery, for the care Gareth received over the last few years; to Cass and Moya for their exceptional care and for being there when times were hard. Thank you also to the Ynys Môn District Nurses, Marie Curie, Palliative Care Team, and Susannah Robinson from the MS Society for her advice and kindness. Special thanks to the following: Daniel my son, Catrin my daughter for her support, help and the love towards Gareth, and for making him laugh every day, wherever she was. Mary Wyn WOOLFORD

The family of the late Mary Wyn Woolford would like to thank everyone for their kind messages of condolence, cards and flowers received following their sad loss. Special thanks are also given to all who made donations in Mary's memory.
