Salvage Hunter Drew Pritchard has teased sticking his head "above the parapet" again after enjoying a lower profile over the past year.

The antiques dealer from Conwy stepped down from the long running programme last year.

It is not that he hasn't been busy since then. He is still undertaking a "mammoth" restoration of a five-storey Georgian townhouse in Bath.

In addition to this, last year he opened Drew Pritchard Antiques in the Cotswold town of Tetbury.

But he has spent less time in the spotlight after stepping down from the hit show.

He has now teased that this could change in the future, with Drew encouraged to continue to share his knowledge with a wider audience.

He made his comments on Instagram after a visit to the Treasure House Fair at the Royal Hospital Chelsea in London.

He said: "I was encouraged yesterday by two people I trust implicitly to stick my head above the parapet again, to talk about the business I love, the people I admire and the beautiful things that they find.

"So I might do a little more of this and who knows what else?"

What form this could take is not known. There would be TV producers happy to snap up the popular antiques dealer and put him back on television.

But equally he could jump on the growing trend for podcasts and Youtube channels - where he would be sure to rapidly build a strong audience.

His news was met with excitement on his Instagram page.
