China's internet content and cybersecurity regulator has launched an investigation into network security products marketed by US vendor Palo Alto Networks. Xinhua News cites a statement issued by the Cyberspace Administration of China (CAC) confirming the probe on 06 August. CAC's review will aim to prevent dangers that could impact the stable operation of critical IT infrastructure, while averting broader cybersecurity risks and enhancing national security.
