At least two people are confirmed dead following a midair multi-plane collision at an airport in Arizona.
Authorities said the Wednesday morning crash involved two separate aircraft at Marana Regional Airport — about 20 miles northwest of Tucson.
Two people were reportedly on board each plane and helicopter footage showed one of the aircraft — a Cessna 172 — intact.

Viewer-submitted photos showed smoke in the direction of the airport. It's worth noting that Marana Regional Airport does not have a control tower, meaning it is uncontrolled airspace.
Officials said the airport has been closed and an investigation into the incident is underway.
