Bella Hadid enjoyed a low-key birthday celebration with some of her close friends, including pal Hailey Bieber. 

The Victoria's Secret model, who turned 29 on October 9, shared a number of new snaps from the festivities to her Instagram over the weekend.

In one photo, she posed with Justin Bieber’s wife, 28, and large balloons, including a giant 29. 

Bella flashed a hint of her toned midriff in a sheer crop top and blue jeans, while Hailey looked effortlessly cool in a white t-shirt and dark jeans. 

'Surprise [ghost emoji] I have the best friends ever cutest girls in the world. I love you so so much,' Bella — who was recently at a clinic in Germany for treatment to help with her decade-long struggle with chronic neurological Lyme disease — wrote in the caption.

There was also a video of Bella blowing out candles on her red cake, which featured a photo of her in lingerie on the Victoria's Secret runway.

The cake featured the phrase 'That's all folks!' 

Bella also shared her Halloween preparations, with one picture showing her posing with a number of colorful pumpkins. 

Another clip showed the birthday girl rocking a crown while enjoying a pumpkin carving session with her pals. 

She also included a picture of Hailey holding a unique pumpkin that was painted black and featured eyes and cat ears.

The carousel went on with a snap of Bella painting a pumpkin.

She also gave a glimpse of several wrapped birthday presents.

A week prior, Bella's boyfriend Adan Banuelos gave a rare glimpse at their romance as he shared a sweet tribute to the model in celebration of her birthday.

The 36-year-old Mexican-American rodeo star shared a series of throwback photos them together and shared a glimpse at their low-key lives in Texas.

'October's become a special month,' Banuelos wrote in the caption of his birthday tribute to Hadid. 'It's the month God sent you.'

The cowboy continued: 'Even with all the chaos and ugliness, He gave us something pure and beautiful.'

'Love you, baby. I'll keep reminding you every day just how much,' he concluded his belated birthday tribute.

In the comments section, Hadid responded with teary-eyed emojis and colorful hearts. 'Baby I love you, thank you my bub,' she wrote. 'This is the sweetest...ever.'

He shared a series of photos of them enjoying horseback riding dates and sometimes even on the same one together with Hadid wrapping her arms around him.

The pair put on a loved-up display in the hunky cowboy's snapshots. In one photo, Banuelos was seen kissing her hand while their fingers were intertwined.

Another was a blurry photo of him smiling as she threw up her middle fingers at an unseen photographer.

Hadid and Banuelos began dating in late 2023, shortly after she relocated to Texas, a move she described as both a romantic and personal reset.

In September, Hadid sparked concern when she revealed her stay at St. George Hospital located on the outskirts of Munich.

It was there that Hadid was undergoing a month-long treatment for her Lyme disease symptoms at the clinic's specialized center, where a week-long stay could cost upwards of $100,000.

The alarming images - which were shared by both Hadid and her mother Yolanda, who also suffers from chronic Lyme disease - showed the model hooked up to an IV, breathing through an oxygen tube and covered in wet towels.

In her own caption, Hadid apologized to her 61 million Instagram followers for being 'MIA' over the past month.

However, Hadid's battle with chronic Lyme disease hasn't been without some criticism from health skeptics - the most common one being that chronic Lyme disease is not widely accepted by the medical community as a recognized medical term.

Most patients diagnosed with Lyme disease will recover after two to three weeks of antibiotics, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Lingering symptoms do occur for some, known as post-treatment Lyme disease syndrome (PTLDS), as experts say these symptoms tend to last for weeks or months.

But in most cases, doctors argue that borrelia bacteria - the bacteria transmitted by ticks that causes Lyme disease - cannot stay active in the body for decades, despite what some chronic Lyme patients have claimed.

Apart from the physical symptoms of her chronic Lyme disease - which she's said includes headaches, brain fog, sensitivity to light and noise, thyroid dysfunction, inflammation, joint pain and numbness - Hadid also experiences severe bouts of depression and anxiety.

Hadid recently explained to her Instagram followers how the 'weight' of her anxiety and depression 'can sometimes feel all-consuming, paralyzing, and invisible to the outside world'.

'Over the years, I've learned that this is not a weakness - it's a part of me. My sensitivity, my awareness, my empathy. In many ways, it can be a superpower.'

'It's what makes us human, and these parts of me have helped me understand myself and others more deeply,' she wrote.
