This Classic White 1976 Corvette Coupe shows only 33K miles and it's optioned with an L48 350 V8 engine mated to a 4-speed manual transmission.

For all the talk about the late ’70s “bubble back” Corvettes, the early C3s have always carried a more exotic vibe for me — especially with that mysterious though admittedly hard-to-access storage bin tucked behind the seats.
This Classic White 1976 Corvette over Buckskin Leather now listed on eBay for $15,500 is a perfect reminder of why those cars still turn heads.
What really makes this one stand out, though, is something far rarer than its classic profile: a manual transmission, one of just 2,088 built out of 46,558 Corvettes produced that year. In other words, fewer than 5% of ’76 Stingrays left the factory with a stick.
According to the seller, this Stingray has been garage kept for a decade and shows just 33,370 original miles — a number you don’t see often on mid ’70s Corvettes. It’s powered by the L48 350 ci V8 paired with that rare manual gearbox, and the seller says it “runs and drives” with a tight engine and strong takeoff.
The interior is described as “great,” and the car comes with its original T tops, which the seller advises removing carefully. A multi disc CD player has been added, and while the tires still have tread, they’re older than five years and due for replacement.
The car comes with new tie rod ends (not yet installed), and the factory A/C system is still in place, though its condition isn’t detailed. Along with the car, the seller is including:
• A Haynes manual
• A stack of Corvette memorabilia and magazines
• Previous Pennsylvania custom plates reading “MY 76”
Shipping is the buyer’s responsibility, and the car is also listed locally, meaning the auction could end early.
Finished in white — a color that always flatters the C3’s “Great White Shark” lines — this ’76 Stingray might be the answer for someone wanting an affordable, low mileage, manual shift Corvette that hasn’t been modified into oblivion.
