A little Hollywood history may be getting rewritten as Gigi Hadid reportedly wants her current love and her famous ex to finally call a truce.

The 31-year-old supermodel casually dated Leonardo DiCaprio from September 2022 until September 2023. They reportedly broke up due to lifestyle differences, but it wasn’t long before Hadid was spotted on the arms of Bradley Cooper. The problem is that DiCaprio and Cooper were friends.

“People forget they were like brothers, and then they had this falling out and haven’t spoken since,” an insider told Star magazine. “Leo would never admit that Bradley dating Gigi and breaking the so-called bro code has anything to do with it, but it’s pretty obvious that was at least a part of the issue.”

DiCaprio was allegedly “bothered” by Cooper’s sudden romance with his ex. But with everyone moving on in their relationships, Hadid reportedly wants the men to “revive this friendship.”

Cooper and Hadid have been spotted wearing wedding rings, but they have not confirmed any official ceremony. Meanwhile, DiCaprio has been in a serious relationship with supermodel Vittoria Ceretti since August 2023. Ceretti has even outlasted DiCaprio’s rumored age cutoff — she’s 28.

DiCaprio met Cooper in the ’90s when their careers looked very different from each other. He was at the height of his fame with Titanic, and Cooper was a doorman at Morgans Hotel.

“I remember taking Leonardo DiCaprio up to his room, and I was in the elevator with him and, like, seven of his friends. It was around the time of Titanic. And I remember this guy who looked like a kid, even though we’re about the same age; he looked like a little boy,” he told ShortList in 2012. “I remember thinking how I was three feet away from this guy, and we were worlds apart.”

It’s likely why Hadid feels like it’s time for them to put their egos aside and move forward with the friendship because the men “have so much history.”

“They met before Bradley was even famous,” the Star magazine source summed up. “[And] it seems a shame to let that die forever over something so silly.”
