Love Island: All Stars winner Molly Smith has dished her thoughts on the cast of this year's series. 

The model, 30, won the first series of Love Island: All Stars with Tom Clare, 25, last year, with the couple still going strong now. 

Molly shared her 'shock' at seeing exes Marcel Somerville and Gabby Allen - who got together on series three - appear on the dating show. 

'I think the producers know what they’re doing when they put people in. I was shocked to see Marcel and Gabby in there, and obviously they’re exes,' she told The Mirror on Friday.

'To see them after all these years was a bit, “Oh, my God!"'

The Ann Summers model also revealed which friend failed to tell her she'd be going on the ITV show amid her 'suspicions'.

Molly admitted her pal Kaz Crossley failed to mention she'd be entering the Love Island villa in South Africa this time round.  

'No, she didn’t [tell me]. But, to be fair, she asked me if I was going on All Stars last year and I said “no”, so it makes sense,' she said. 

'I had my suspicions about a few people going in, because I looked on Instagram and saw that some people were in the gym over Christmas, and it’s real dedication to work out over Christmas, so I did wonder.'

Kaz has struggled on the latest series, failing to find a love match despite flirting with several of the contestants.

Earlier this week, she opened up about her alopecia and shaving her hair for charity.

The influencer raised an incredible £13,000 for a children's hair loss charity last year after she developed alopecia herself following a series of traumatic events.

Speaking to new bombshell Ron Hall, Kaz said she is 'now embracing the short hair' after previously saying she 'felt like a boy' with the hair do.

She said: 'Everything happens for a reason and to me on my journey it's made me who I am and made me do things that I do now.'

Georgia Harrison wrote: 'Wow guys congratulations xx So happy for you'.

Kaz went on: 'Even like shaving my hair off it was because I had alopecia. I shaved it off for charity, it's a charity that makes wigs for children going through alopecia and cancer.

'Yeah, now I embrace the short hair.'

Elsewhere during her interview, Molly gave fans an update on the renovations of the Manchester home she and Tom bought just six months after meeting on Love Island. 

She revealed they have almost finished revamping the kitchen, have a lot of painting to do, and are planning to start extending the back of the house next month. 

In August, Molly revealed the couple had bought their first home together, sharing a video of them celebrating in the back garden of the idyllic country house.

'"Home is where the heart is" - We’ve officially bought our first home we couldn’t be happier,' the reality star wrote on Instagram at the time.

The pair were inundated with messages of support from their fellow islanders as they rushed to congratulate the pair on the milestone.

Liberty Poole penned, 'Yay congrats guys,' and Abi Moore added: 'Congratulations guys, Love this.'

Fellow islander, and Tom's best friend Casey Gorman joked: 'Which spare bedroom is mine then.'

The purchase comes after Tom moved into Molly's pad in Manchester in June, leaving behind the London home he shared with Casey.

Molly told Olivia Attwood, 32, on her So Wrong It's Right podcast in April: 'He lives in Battersea but he's moving out. 

'So poor Casey's probably thinking, "Oh great. I'm stealing him." But he's moving in with me in Manchester.'

She added: 'So I know people probably think, "Oh it's quite quick", but we've practically lived together from the day we've met, and he's practically living at mine now. Slowly but surely there's been drawers getting filled up.

Olivia said: 'So he's been moving himself in unofficially.'

Molly joked: 'Yeah, he's had his little plan all along.'

The model previously lived with ex-boyfriend Callum Jones in their four-bedroom house with their two dogs. They split in September 2023.
