The Golden Globe winner was just nominated for her eighth Emmy award.
Keri Russell isn’t afraid to go off-the-rack.
“We’re not that famous,” the actress shared with Variety, in a joint interview with husband Matthew Rhys.
Doubling down on her self-deprecation, the Golden Globe winner shared that she “sometimes can’t get a dress” for awards shows. “I am not, you know, someone famous,” she added.

Some people in our neighborhood are very famous, and their life is very different. And it seems so hard.”
The couple, who have been together since 2013, also gave a video interview to the publication, during which Rhys joked that he choses projects to work on based on cash. “What pays most, wins, very simple,” he deadpanned as Russel wiped the tears of laughter from her eyes.
“Three children and a mortgage,” he continued, “I’ll get after it … I have no shame, I’ll whore myself with the best of them.”
Russell shares two children with ex-husband Shane Dear — River, 19, and Willa, 13 — and a son, Sam, 10, with Rhys.

Stylist Frank Flemming currently styles both Russell as well as Rhys. Though he has yet to comment on her red carpet purchases, he’s certainly managed to secure an arsenal of head-turning looks for the couple, despite their humble “lack of fame.”
With the 2026 Emmys set for Sept. 14, we can’t wait to see what Russell wears.
