TerraPower Isotopes has announced a $450 million investment to establish a 250,000-square-foot facility at Greater Philadelphia’s Bellwether District. This new manufacturing facility is dedicated to the production of cancer-fighting radioisotopes, further solidifying the region’s status as a global hub for life sciences. The company joins an ecosystem of radiopharmaceutical and nuclear medicine organizations already operating within the tri-state area.

The Select Greater Philadelphia team at the Chamber of Commerce for Greater Philadelphia supported TerraPower Isotopes throughout the site selection process, highlighting the region’s competitive advantages for large-scale clinical and manufacturing investments. The search was conducted in partnership with Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) and Orchestra Life Sciences (OLS).

With this commitment, TerraPower Isotopes joins a concentration of industry leaders including Eli Lilly, Nucleus Radiopharma, Novartis, Bristol Myers Squibb (BMS), Siemens Healthineers, GE Healthcare, and SERB Pharmaceuticals. These companies are fueled by an integrated regional ecosystem that spans isotope and radiochemistry research, advanced manufacturing, and a deep talent pool. This ecosystem allows discoveries to move efficiently from the lab to clinical trials and, ultimately, to commercial production.
