IndieWire Honors Celebrated the Collaborators Behind Some of the Season’s Best TV — See All the Photos

The award ceremony celebrated the creators and collaborators behind some of our favorite TV shows of the season.

There’s no award show quite like the IndieWire Honors. Our biannual award show celebrates talent from above and below the line, honoring the artistry and collaboration that goes into the stories we see on screen. The Spring 2026 edition, held at NYA Studios West in Hollywood on Thursday, June 4, was a celebration of some of our favorite shows of the season. With a total of 16 honorees, it marked our biggest ceremony to date.
Michelle Pfeiffer received the Vanguard Award for her performances on “The Madison and “Margo’s Got Money Troubles.”
Nicolas Cage received the Innovation Award for his genre-bending work on “Spider-Noir.”
Rhea Seehorn and Charles Melton were both honored with the Performance Award for their roles in “Pluribus” and “Beef,” respectively.
Katie Dippold and Hiro Murai received the Visionary Award for their collaboration on “Widow’s Bay.”
Destin Daniel Cretton and Andrew Guest received the Auteur Award for the creativity they demonstrated on Marvel’s “Wonder Man.”
“Lord of the Flies” creator Jack Thorne and star David McKenna received the Wavelength Award for their work together on the Netflix series.
Erika Alexander received the Maverick Award for her boundary-defying career work on “The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins.”
Rebecca Miller was given the Magnify Award for her captivating documentary “Mr. Scorsese.”
Raphael Bob-Waksberg received the Spark Award for his continued excellence in animation in “Long Story Short.”
Asif Ali and Saagar Shaikh received the Breakthrough Award for their infectious chemistry in “Deli Boys.”
Michelle Khare received the inaugural Pulse Award for the awards-worthy YouTube content she produces on “Challenge Accepted.”
