Paige Turley and Finn Tapp have revealed that it was freezing while in South Africa for the first season of Winter Love Island.
The winners of the 2020 series, who are 25 and 23 respectively, have been looking at their time on the reality show and divulged details on the production surrounding it.
In the three years since their appearance, the newest Islanders have arrived in Cape Town to spend eight weeks in the villa chatting up their love interests - but Finn and Paige have said one element fans don't realise is how chilly it is.
No way! Paige Turley and Finn Tapp have revealed that it was freezing while in South Africa for the first season of Winter Love Island
Speaking to Heat Magazine ahead of the launch of Winter Love Island 2023 on Monday night, Paige said it was 'freezing' in South Africa.
Finn explained: 'I put a hoodie and a jacket on one night, and the producers asked me to take it off. They didn't want you to look cold.'
Paige then said: 'You'd be sat there with your teeth chattering, trying to look good in your bikini. And you know how in previous years they had blankets and stuff? None of that for us.'
Finn added: 'I actually got a bit of stick from my friends, because they thought I'd just brought a new jacket and wanted to wear it on TV. I can assure you, it does get really chilly when the sun goes down.'

Finn and Paige also revealed that there are several takes of the same situation, which was a similar tale to that of Jack Keating's, who joined at Casa Amor on the last series in summer 2022.
Last year, Jack revealed he was asked by Love Island producers to re-enact a conversation with Gemma Owen about their famous dads multiple times on-camera.
The celebrity offspring claimed he was 'surprised' when show bosses got him to repeat his chat with the 19-year-old daughter of footballer Michael Owen.

Re-take! Finn and Paige also revealed that there are several takes of the same situation, including on their first date (pictured) when Paige had to do her walk-up' 'so many times' before they actually sat down for a chat
He exclusively told MailOnline: 'I think the biggest, most surprising thing for me is just like how many times they have to build things if they want to get different shots, different angles, different conversations.
'The [producers] will ask you again to sit down and have the same conversation again and bring up the same sort of things. That's what I thought was the most surprising thing.'
The 2020 Winter Love Island winners said something similar, with their first run-in with one another as bombshell Finn chose Paige for a date.
Really? Paige and Finn's claim comes after Jack Keating said he was asked by Love Island producers to re-enact a conversation with Gemma Owen about their famous dads multiple times on-camera
Production: When asked about toxic behaviour and contestants who act in that way, Finn said he says fans need to be more careful before labelling someone as possessive or controlling because there is 24 hours of filming slimmed down to 45 minutes
He explained to the publication that he had to watch Paige do her walk-up' 'so many times' before they actually sat down for a chat.
When asked about toxic behaviour and contestants who act in that way, Finn said he says fans need to be more careful before labelling someone as possessive or controlling because there is 24 hours of filming slimmed down to 45 minutes.
Paige added that if someone really was 'toxic' then they would be 'taken out' - but agreed that the show was 'very clever' in the way it is edited.
