She was among the biggest stars from Scotland in the 1980s.
And at the weekend, Clare Grogan, 64, proved she still has it what it takes to rock an audience.
The Glaswegian was back on stage with her band Altered Images at Southampton’s Let’s Rock Festival, where the line-up included the likes of Kim Wilde, ABC and Jason Donovan.

Donning shades and a sparkling, off-the-shoulder light-green poncho, she injected some glam into the retro fest.
The Scots new wave group, who released hits including Happy Birthday, and I Could Be Happy, split in 1983, although Ms Grogan occasionally performed under the name Altered Images.
They reformed in 2021 to support The Human League on their UK tour and the following year released new music for the first time in decades when their album, Mascara Streakz, came out.
