I was bouncing around YouTube this morning, looking for something that would help me want to do something besides just listen. Olbermann was being Olbermann, Belle (Beau) of the Fifth Column was okay, I watched a couple of minor shorts, and then I hit this.

At 2:57 into the video is when I woke up and started to get interested. Personally, I needed to hear Maddow say this to break through the fugue I was still carrying. However, if you click through to Watch on YouTube, go down to the description, and click more, there is a transcript available that you can scroll through without having to watch the video. I tried reformatting it to show it below, but the process is messy, and I wanted to post this morning.

I have a lilac tree, and if I had a dooryard, it would likely be in it. As it is, I live rather far down several streets from where Bradbury originally lived, but I’m a long-time fan, and the his title came to mind when I went looking for a headline.
