I hope this is not a trend. I started up the front page today and someone started shouting at me about “the ultimate Liverpool experience”. I had to scroll around on the page until I found the ad, and when I found it, there was no way to shut it off.

Video is bad enough — bandwidth where I am is at a premium — but shouting and thump-thump-thump music? Really??
