Robin's egg blue for fall? Yes.
Signs of fall are starting to whisper in the air, and I’m honestly quite excited about it. Crisp mornings, 65 degree weather, everything PSL flavored, and of course… fall fashion. There’s just something about this time of year that makes me want to overhaul my entire closet: cozy knits, rich color palettes, boots I’ve been dying to break out again.
And if you’re a plus size babe like me, you know the drill by now. You start scrolling for fall outfit inspo, you fall in love with a piece, and then… the size range stops at a large. It’s the same story every season, and honestly? It never gets less annoying.
That’s exactly why I started this monthly series. Think of it as your shortcut to the good stuff: a cozy little corner of the internet where I round up plus size fashion finds that actually feel exciting and worth your money. I’m not here to settle for pieces that just technically come in plus, and I don’t think you should either.

So bookmark this one. Every piece featured here is new, exciting, and ready for your fall wardrobe, from cozy layers to statement outerwear to the transitional pieces that’ll get you through these in-between 65 degree days. Come back every month for the newest plus size fashion finds.
Exciting Fall Trends That Are Actually Available in Plus SizeThis season’s fall trends give me major dopamine dressing vibes. I’m seeing vibrant colors like robin’s egg blue, sheer tops, and lots of corduroy pieces that I’m jonesing to add to my closet. There are new (to me) brands entering the plus size fashion world right now too. And at the top of the list for me are Shop Berriez and Ace & Jig. Two very different vibes, but two brands worth noting!
Shop Berriez is a small New York based custom and second hand shop that makes one-of-a-kind unique pieces, so if you’re someone who is looking for items no one else owns check them out! And Ace & Jig, might just be my new favorite eco-conscious luxe brand. This Brooklyn based brand designs stunning pieces made from 100% organic cotton and other natural materials and often feature interesting geometric and striped patterns. And this dress is at the top of my wishlist! Okay, enough yapping (well typing) about what’s new, let’s get into the rest of this fall lineup.
1 | Ralph Lauren buckle collar sweaterTruth be told, I’m not the biggest fan of sweaters. I tend to run hot hot hot, and find chunky, oversized, wool, cashmere, and thick sweaters to be too much for me. However, when I find a good lightweight cotton sweater, I know I’ve struck gold. And this cotton blend buckle sweater hits all the marks for me. The buckle detailing makes it feel unique and the ultra lightweight cotton will keep you warm enough but also allow you to layer it with a jacket if you need more warmth. It gives me major cool girl energy and I love it! ps. it also comes in a rich chocolate brown and it’s really good!
Finding pants for fall that aren’t boring, especially as a plus size babe, is without a doubt a challenge. But y’all Anthropologie really looked out for the big girls this season, because their plus size fall collection, particularly their pants, are freaking fantastic! I’ve got my eye on these relaxed corduroy barrel pants and love everything about them. The gorgeous camel color, the lined detailing, the slight nod to the barrel trend, it’s all so good! Now here’s to hoping that they look just as good on my shorter, more curvy frame, compared to the model.
Okay, this dress quite literally stopped me in my tracks. It’s freaking gorgeous and from a brand I’ve never heard of. It’s the most stunning striped color way and I personally think it’s that perfect fall transitional piece for your closet. It obviously looks stunning on its own, but I think it could easily be styled with a long sleeve tee underneath and a killer pair of boots. Gahh, it’s just so so good – it’s 100% organic cotton, and it comes in other patterns too.
I’ve never given much thought to wearing light shades of blue in the fall, but damn has this outfit changed my mind on the kinds of colors that work for fall. Just imagine wearing this sweater and complementing faux leather skirt to go look at the aspen leaves! Like it would juxtapose so beautifully against the fall foliage. The entire outfit is a 10 out of 10 for me, and I’d pair it with boots.
Over the past few years I’ve amassed a boot collection that makes me giddy, and a major reason why is thanks to Dolce Vita! I was one of the lucky girls that was able to work with them when they initially began their extended boot collections and their boots are so so good! If you want genuine leather, high quality boots that will actually fit your calves, then Dolce Vita is your girl! I’ve got my eye on these chocolate brown boots for fall and can’t wait to see what other designs they drop later this season.
I love that J.Crew expanded to plus size over 6 years ago now, but seriously, can they get it together and start diversifying their models?! I’d love to see what these pieces look like on someone other than a size zero, because let’s face it, the majority of women in the US are a size 14 or larger. Anyways in the meantime, I’ll just have to keep ordering and sharing my thoughts on which pieces work for curves for you all on my own! Sorry for the rant, but this pretty plaid coat caught my eye and I’ll report back once I get my hands on it.
I’m a sucker for a balloon style pant and these 100% linen pants from Ref definitely intrigued me. They come in the coolest spearmint color and black, and I love how effortless and easy they feel. I love easy outfits that still feel put together, and these pants feel like they would be a dream to style with all the other pieces in my closet.
I’m not 100% sure that I look good in gingham, which is why I really want to test out this trend with a more affordable option. And Old Navy delivered with this pretty gingham mini dress. It’s cutesy and makes me want to go apple picking, and at under $40 it’s a no-brainer for me to try something that’s not in my normal fashion wheelhouse.
If you recall, I mentioned two trends I’ve been seeing a whole lot of for fall: all things sheer and vibrant colors that make dopamine dressing feel fun. And this sheer button down top is a two in one trend! It’s the prettiest shade of light blue and yup, she’s sheer too. I personally love a sheer top and think it works well as a layering piece, and looks sexy for date night too.
Would this even be a fall roundup without a little faux leather?! I think not! I personally love these cropped faux leather pants because of their cutout and scalloped design. So fun, and so perfect for early fall!
These first signs of fall fashion honestly have me very excited for what’s in store for plus size babes this fall! And I can’t wait to get my hands on some of these pieces and try them for myself. I’d love to know what you’ve got your eye on.
