Khai Dinh was the last Imperial king of Vietnam, ruling from 1916 to 1925. He was one of the most despised rulers of the nation because of his relationship with France. September 4, 1920, was when the construction of the Khai Dinh tomb began. It took ten years to complete and it was Nguyen Dynasty’s most costly and labor-intensive construction.
