Ramp knows about the value of exceptional domain names. The company began on TryRamp.com and later upgraded to its brand matching Ramp.com domain name.

A couple of weeks ago, DomainNames.com, a platform operated by GoDaddy that specializes in the sale of high value domain names, announced that Router.com had been sold. GoDaddy shared that the buyer was represented by Lumis in the deal.

Deal closed.

At the time the sale was announced, the buyer and the sale price were both unknown.

This afternoon, Ramp announced it acquired Router.com and launched a new brand and website using the domain name:

Although the sale price is unknown, I am pretty sure the DomainNames.com platform doesn’t have any domain names listed for sale that aren’t at least six figures. If I learn the price, I’ll share an update.
