MOSCOW, August 24. /TASS/. Fighters of Russia’s Battlegroup North are pushing the enemy back from the state border after taking control of the Pershe Travnya settlement in the Sumy Region, the Russian Defense Ministry reported.

"During an active offensive operation, Battlegroup North service members took control of the Pershe Travnya settlement in the Sumy Region. In a mop-up operation in the settlement, units of the 810th Brigade and the 145th Marine Regiment, as well as assault troops from the 15th Tank Regiment and the 41st and 22nd Motorized Rifle Regiments, distinguished themselves the most. <...> Units of the Battlegroup North, advancing simultaneously along all sectors of the front, continue to push the enemy further and further back from the state border, creating a security zone in the Sumy and Kharkov Regions," the ministry said in a statement.
