Collegiate tennis's national organization honored Penn State Abington NCAA Division III tennis for academic achievement.

ABINGTON, Pa. — The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) announced that Penn State Abington NCAA Division III tennis achieved team academic honors, and 11 players earned individual recognition for the 2025-26 academic year. ITA is the national governing body for collegiate tennis, including NCAA Division I, II and III programs and junior/community colleges.
Led by head coach and assistant athletic director Matt Levy, the men's and women's tennis programs were each named ITA All-Academic Teams by compiling at least an overall 3.2 GPA. Eleven Abington ITA scholar-athletes earned at least 3.5 GPAs:

A transformative makeover of Abington's Physical Education Building is underway with a targeted completion date of September 2027. The $25 million project includes a full renovation of the existing 46,483-square-foot building, plus 6,017 square feet of new construction within its existing structure. The modern new spaces will include fitness areas available to all Abington students.
