U.S. President Donald Trump ordered the Pentagon to prepare strikes on Iran-backed Houthis in Yemen after Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman pressed him to intervene, then reversed course Sunday as U.S. warplanes were being readied for the operation, according to a New York Times report citing U.S. officials.
