Taylor Swift may have found her latest role, and it has nothing to do with a microphone or a recording studio. Insiders are claiming that the pop star is determined to find Tom Cruise his next romantic partner — and there’s a reason why.

Swift skipped the Primetime Emmys on September 14 to attend Travis Kelce’s first game of the season with the Kansas City Chiefs. Sitting next to her in the family’s box suite was Tom Cruise, and it’s pretty clear that Swift and Kelce are becoming close friends with the movie star.

Still, the 64-year-old actor was there alone, which, according to Star magazine, has Swift ready to play “matchmaker” for him.

“She told Tom that she’s going to find him the right gal, and she really means it,” a source shared. “She’s so in love, she wants everyone to feel as happy as she does, so she will be seriously devoting herself to this. Tom is in great hands.”

Swift isn’t the only one trying to assist the Mission: Impossible star in the romance department. Victoria Beckham has also been stepping up recently to help out Cruise’s love life, according to the Daily Mail.

“Tom is frustrated that his love life has not been smooth because often he is lonely,” an insider claimed. “He’s not desperate to find love, even though his close friend Victoria Beckham is always trying to set him up with a pretty young thing.”

Still, Swift may be working an angle while trying to get Cruise lucky in love — and it has everything to do with Kelce’s post-NFL career.

“Football is still the focus for Travis, but once he does step back and he’s ready to act, Tom will be a fantastic help,” the Star magazine source added. “Taylor is all for it. She wants to see Travis achieve his dreams.”

Kelce has been dabbling with a Hollywood career, and he already has some impressive credits including Ryan Murphy’s Grotesquerie and Adam Sandler’s Happy Gilmore 2. His close association with Cruise could help him in the long run.

For now, Swift appears happy to play cupid for Cruise. But if the matchmaker mission also helps open a few Hollywood doors for Kelce down the line, it could be a win-win for the power couple.
