Fairport finished first in the team standings with a score of 132, while Genesee placed third with 120.8 at a local gymnastics meet.Rush-Henrietta finished second with a 125.325, followed by Honeoye Falls-Lima (28.85), Charles Finney (22.375), and Northstar (21.15).Mary Claire Wirth of Fairport won the all-around competition with a total score of 34.25. Wirth also took first place on uneven bars (8.15) and balance beam (8.85). Libby Kate Klingensmith of Fairport took top honors on vault with an 8.7.Genesee's Emma Cooper tied Fairport's Gabrielle Rause for first place on floor exercise with an 8.95. Cooper also finished third on vault (8.4), fifth in the all-around (32.35), seventh on uneven bars (7.0), and eighth on balance beam (8.0).Also for Genesee, Mila Russo placed third on uneven bars (7.4), fourth on floor exercise (8.75), fifth on balance beam (8.2), and sixth in the all-around (31.85).Edison Betances recorded a 12th-place finish on vault (7.7), placed 14th on uneven bars (6.5), and took 16th on floor exercise (7.0). Addie Yasses finished 10th on floor exercise (7.9), 13th in the all-around (28.20), 14th on uneven bars (6.4), 17th on balance beam (6.55), and 18th on vault (7.35).Carsyn Good tied Russo for 15th on vault (7.5), while Chloe Garner finished 17th on floor exercise (6.95), 19th on vault (7.25), and 19th on uneven bars (5.0). Sophia Matthews placed 13th on balance beam (7.0), Shae Finn took 17th on balance beam (6.4), and Taryn Wright placed 19th on floor exercise (6.675) and 20th on balance beam (6.0).Genesee next competes on Friday, Sept. 25, at MCA Gymnastics at 6:30 p.m.
