Konami just issued a new version 1.2.0 update for eFootball Kick-Off, which is highlighted by a Leagues Mode.

The mode lets players choose from clubs across 25 leagues in Europe, South America, Asia, and Oceania and compete for the league title over a full season. It’s possible to track your club’s league progress while competing for Top Goalscorer and Assists Leader honors. Four players can team up and compete together throughout the season.

Here’s the full rundown of today’s update:

New “Leagues” Mode Added

Play a full season of league soccer, with home and away matches, in one of 25 countries worldwide.

In countries with registered first and second divisions, teams can move to a higher or lower league at the start of the season.

Manage your squad while keeping player fatigue and suspensions from yellow cards in mind across the full season.

View individual records such as goals scored and assists.

Data Updated for the New Season

The game data for each league has been updated to reflect the start of the 2026–2027 season.

Gameplay Adjustments

We have looked at how users play the game and implemented changes to make gameplay more fun and enjoyable. Here are the most noteworthy changes that will be introduced:

Goalkeepers

• We have made changes to goalkeeper movements to boost the excitement and intensity of action in front of goal.
• We have adjusted goalkeeper reactions depending on the shooting situation, so that there is a more enjoyable balance between attack and defense.

CPU Level Balancing

• We have adjusted the balance of CPU difficulty levels.
• We have fine tuned the difficulty jump that occurs between levels, based on win rates at each difficulty.
• Matches now provide a better and more enjoyable challenge.

Pass Targeting

• We have made changes so that passes are more likely to reach the intended teammate.
• The target will now be selected more naturally, based on the stick input and weight of pass.

Defense

• We have made changes to player movement when defending.
• Defenders are now less likely to leave opposing players unmarked unexpectedly. This will improve defensive balance.
• We have also tweaked the feel of the controls, player movement, and other elements to improve the gaming experience.

Other

• New Settings for Tournament Rules in Different Modes
• Users can now adjust match duration and game speed when participating in tournaments in the World Tour and International Cup.
• Stadium Announcements Added in Japanese
• Stadium announcements for Japanese teams’ home matches will now be made in Japanese.
• New Legend Players Added to the World Tour
• Thai Added to Available Text Languages
• Game Stability Improved
