The Chattanooga Theatre Centre continues its 103rd season with The Entire American Revolution (in 40 Minutes or Less) beginning Sept. 26. Show times are Saturday, Sept. 26 at 2:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 27 at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 3 at 2:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 4 at 2:30 p.m.

This "fast-paced, high-energy romp" features student performers both on stage and running the production behind the scenes.

This production launches a season-long thematic thread exploring "The American Experience" during the United States’ 250th Anniversary.

The show races through the pivotal moments, personalities and battles of America's founding, from the Boston Tea Party to the Declaration of Independence, blending history with humor, chaos and theatrical fun.

"Our youth theatre will trace our nation’s story throughout the season: starting with its Revolutionary founding, moving to how government works in Schoolhouse Rock Live!, and culminating in the election process with the new musical Duck for President, based on the beloved children's book," officials said.

“It’s our hope that young people and the audiences who come to see their shows will be inspired to learn more about our shared history,” said Kim Jackson, CTC executive director. “By looking closely at the parts we celebrate, as well as the parts we didn't get right, we hope to spark conversations on how we can work together to do better moving forward.”
