Cowabunga! It's time for some turtles on ice, as the newest table hockey game you can look to play this winter is TMNT Sewer Hockey, a new analogue, rod hockey game featuring the turtles and various characters of their world.

Shipping this November, TMNT Sewer Hockey captures the classic table, or rod, hockey format in a size and format designed for the home. Perfect for an arcade or game room, this 55 by 36 inch table is about 5 and a half feet tall and weights 120 pounds with plywood based construction and plexiglass sidewalls. None of this would sound too crazy for a dedicated table hockey table, but TMNT Sewer Hockey stands out with a LCD screen for displaying scores and other key information. It's customizable with different animations, sound effects, and even voiceovers.

As someone who grew up with table hockey being an inevitable part of large family gatherings (Canada eh?) if I had the room for one of these tables I could see it being perfect. Combining that with a modern relevant IP that also has nostalgia for us millennials makes this something that is likely to be wanted in many arcade rooms at home for people in their 30s to 40s.

Sadly for me, the Sewer Hockey table currently will only be shipping in the contiguous USA when it releases this November, meaning that it's not coming to the real home of hockey up here in the great white north. That seems foolish to me, but what do I know?
