A special camp will be held at all fair price shops in the district on Saturday (September 26) to help family cardholders complete e-KYC.

In a release, District Collector S. Kandasamy said the camp is being organised as part of the State-wide exercise to achieve 100% e-KYC coverage among family card beneficiaries.

The e-KYC process involves fingerprint authentication or iris verification through the Point of Sale (PoS) device at fair price shops The process was carried out at fair price shops on August 2, 8, 9 and 29 as well as on September 19. However, e-KYC registration remained incomplete for some beneficiaries.

The District Collector appealed to family cardholders yet to complete e-KYC to visit their respective fair price shops on Saturday and complete the registration.
