NEW YORK, September 27. /TASS/. US President Donald Trump is keeping all options on the table regarding Iran, US Ambassador to the United Nations Mike Waltz said in an interview with NBC News.

Waltz was asked whether he could confirm a Wall Street Journal report that the US president was considering renewed strikes on Iran after the November US congressional elections.

"What I can tell you is the president will leave all options on the table to ensure the world is safe from Iran holding the world hostage with a nuclear weapon," the diplomat said.

Earlier, Trump said he was always considering renewed strikes on Iran.
