Princess Beatrice's husband Edo Mapelli Mozzi has jetted off to the US for a business trip amid Sarah Ferguson's 'plans to move back to Britain'.

High-end interior design studio Banda Property revealed that the father-of-three travelled across the pond for an 'upcoming project' while the fallout of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Fergie's ties to Jeffrey Epstein continues.

Edo, 42, who founded the luxury property firm in 2007 at the age of 23, was seen taking a leading role by closely analysing some brown fabrics in new photos shared by the business's official account.

The story, shared to their 256,000 Instagram followers, read: 'Edo our CEO is already assessing all available options in the workshop'.

Another image showed Edo, who wed Beatrice in 2020, stood next to a red ladder while inspecting a structure that looks similar to a plane. The picture was aptly captioned: 'Inspection time'.

In one final post to showcase that the brand's short trip had come to a close, a sunset picture taken from a plane above the clouds read: 'Now time to fly back home to our London office and get to work! Stay with us to see how this one comes together.'

It comes after Edo, who is descended from Italian nobility, undertook a business trip to Florida in March for Banda Property.

Snaps showed him reclining outside the pink art deco Colony Hotel in Palm Beach and holding a glass of rosé at the Bellini restaurant on the rooftop of the Mr C Miami hotel.

He attended a talk at stylish interiors store Hive Home, popular with wealthy locals, and was spotted at The Carriage House, an exclusive members' club.

At one point, he visited Fisher Club, a gated island enclave with just 800 residents favoured by billionaires and A-listers such as Oprah Winfrey and Julia Roberts.

One post – a video taken from behind – featured Edo sashaying theatrically along a Florida pavement.

Meanwhile, his mother-in-law, the former Duchess of York, is reportedly planning on moving back to Britain.

Fergie is said to be relocating to a £10,000-a-month, six-bed house in a gated community in the Home Counties.

A source said: 'She's had her eyes on a return for some time but it takes time to find the right new house.

'She hasn't had to worry about accommodation for 20 years as she had Royal Lodge with Andrew.

'Now's the right time to get back to her life.'

Fergie's planned return to British soil is hot on the heels of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who moved back to the UK with their young family in late August after six years in California.

A source close to the former Duchess told The Sun that with everyone's attention on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Fergie is hoping to 'slip back under the radar'.

Last month, Edo offered a rare insight into his family life during a Q&A session with The Gentleman's Journal.

The conversation, held at a Long Summer Lunch Event at Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire, saw the father-of-three and property developer asked about the 'people and places that matter to him'.

After revealing that the finest restaurant he had visited was in the Amalfi Coast, his preferred hotel was 'Kisawa Sanctuary, Mozambique' and the city he will never become tired of visiting is London, Edo discussed the 'luxury' of 'spending time with his family'.

When asked to describe what his 'perfect holiday' looked like, Edo responded: 'Getting off the beaten track, disconnecting from emails and news, and spending time with my family.'

He then went on to describe his 'biggest luxury' as 'experiences, travel and time with family', while adding that 'time with family and friends' is his ultimate form of relaxation.
