Lipoprotein(a)-Lowering Medication Agent to Reduce Cardiovascular Events

The experimental drug pelacarsen did not reduce the risk of adverse cardiovascular events in a phase 3 study, despite lowering lipoprotein(a) (Lp[a]) levels, the manufacturer announced.
